Like many investment firms, Blasting Capital reflects the cumulative experience of its principals—encompassing the successes, the setbacks, and the sometimes exceptional outcomes. BlastCap was established to leverage this expertise in helping management teams anticipate the inevitable challenges inherent in business development, while at the same time identifying and capitalizing on opportunities that others might overlook. Our principals have been on both sides of the table—as operators, investors, and advisors—giving us a unique perspective on what it takes to build and sustain value.

Kevyn DeMartino
Managing Partner
Kevyn has acquired and managed companies throughout his 30+ year investment career, with specific focus on entities experiencing both rapid growth and those with troubled operations – all experiences that have shaped how he sees the intersection of capital and creative problem solving ever since.
Prior to founding BlastCap, he was Managing Partner of Catalyst Holdings and Transition Capital Partners (TCP), both Dallas-based private equity firms focused on investments in middle-market, consumer-centric LBOs and startups. Notable portfolio companies included Bear River Outdoors, Santé Pediatrics, JLab Audio, and Shadow Systems. He is also the author of the business management book "BulletPoints - Using Military Tactics and Strategies to Drive your Business to Victory" (BulletPoints.org).
Kevyn is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas, and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Judy is a seasoned Central Florida entrepreneur with a proven track record of building a successful hospitality-focused commercial finance company. Five years ago, she chose to channel her business acumen into a lifelong passion—breeding and training champion Vizsla canines.
